For the past months I've been trying to cleanse my wardrobe down to things that I actually wear and not things that I swear I'll wear one day, yet it's been 3 years and that day has yet to come.
I own at least 10 white shirts in a variety of plain, billowy sleeves, sheer, ivory, silk, dress/shirt, tuxedo style, and the list goes on. Every time I go out shopping I justify the purchase of yet another one as "I'll wear it all the time, it goes with everything!" Well, today I've decided to challenge myself with a week of whites to see if in fact I will wear it all the time and I don't need to add them to my multiple trash bag Goodwill donation. Today I begin with the white shirt dress, photographs taken in my humble dorm room studio. Worn with a vintage belt, H&M basic black dress, and Ebay/Etsy earrings and shoes.
